The five-story Cottage Studio was designed for writer and philosopher Ayn Rand. Material and design have the recognisable Wright signature. The building was supposed to have a sea view from the upper floors. However, as with many of Wrights' designs, Cottage Studio was never built.
The terrain for the Cottage House was first modeled using contour lines and the terrain tool. After modeling the building, the lawn and forest were created with the Forest Pack tool. Substance materials were used for texturing, and noise was applied to simulate water waves. To enhance shadows and reflections, HDR lighting was supplemented with a Corona Sun. For interior images, the carpet was created using the Forest Pack.
